Getting customers to you
The site's job is the phone ringing.
- Built for phones first
- Most of your visitors are on a phone, often outside with one hand. Every page is designed for a small screen and widened for a desk.
- Enquiries that reach you
- A contact form that lands in your inbox, a WhatsApp button and a tap to call number, so nobody has to write an email to get hold of you.
- Booking and payments
- Booking links or a calendar if you take appointments, included with Business. Taking payments is an add on to Business, for deposits, bookings or monthly plans through Stripe or PayPal, and a full shop is a Custom build. Card details never touch your site.
- What people look for first
- What you do, who for, what it costs and what happens next, near the top, where people actually look.
Being found
A site nobody finds is a business card in a drawer.
- Written for search
- Page titles and descriptions aimed at what people actually type, headings that match the services you sell, a sitemap, and structured data that gives search engines your business name, area and contact details.
- Google Business Profile
- Set up or tidied so your name, area, phone and website match the site. This is what puts you in the map results.
- Fast pages
- Built as plain files rather than a database, so pages load quickly on a normal phone signal. Speed is one of the few ranking factors you can control. Tested in September 2026 on Google's PageSpeed Insights, this site scores 100 on desktop and above 95 on mobile. Anyone can run the same test on viaductweb.co.uk and check.
- Visitor numbers
- See how many people visit and which pages they read, using stats that need no cookie banner on your site.

No lock in, no monthly fee, nothing in my name.
- Domain and hosting in your name
- Set up in accounts you control from day one. Hosting for a normal site costs nothing and a domain is about £10 a year, paid by you directly.
- Edit it yourself
- A simple editor for your text, prices and news, included with Business. No WordPress admin to fight with and no plugins to keep updated.
- Accessible by default
- Readable contrast, proper headings and keyboard navigation, so nobody is shut out of contacting you.
- Aftercare per job
- Send me changes to a site I have built as they come up, and I price them before doing them, from £10 for a small edit. Nothing monthly.
- Privacy, thank you and not found pages
- They come with every site and none of them count towards your page total. The privacy notice is written from what your site actually does, such as where your enquiries go.

How a build runs
Five steps. One to two weeks for a Starter site, two to three weeks for most others.
A chat
Twenty minutes on the phone, or a coffee in Stockport, about what the site needs to do for you.
Quote and deposit
A fixed price in writing. The deposit books your start date, and I send the page by page list, which asks for the text and photos each page needs.
First version
You get a private link to try on your phone and your laptop, within a week for a Starter site and about ten days for anything bigger.
Changes and launch
Your rounds of changes, then the domain, email and hosting go live in your name.
Aftercare
Send me changes whenever they come up and I quote them per job. No monthly fee.
