For plumbers, electricians, builders and other trades

Websites for tradespeople

A site with one job, getting the phone to ring. Your number one tap away, the areas you cover, photos of your own jobs and the registers you belong to, at a fixed price with nothing monthly.

What a trade website needs

The things a customer looks for before they ring.

A number they can tap
A tap to call number and a WhatsApp button come with every package, so ringing you is one tap from the page. A contact form that lands in your inbox covers people who would rather write.
The areas you cover
The towns and areas you work in, written out plainly, so someone on the edge of your patch can see at a glance whether you will come out. Your Google Business Profile is set up to match the site.
Photos of your own jobs
Your photos of finished work, sized so they load quickly on a phone. Real jobs show the standard of your work in a way stock photos cannot.
Registrations a customer can check
Your Gas Safe number, your competent person scheme or your other memberships, shown with your business name as registered and linked to the register, so a customer can check it.

How the packages cover it

Fixed prices, in writing before I start. Half books your start date and the rest is invoiced when the site is ready to go live.

Starter, £500

Up to three pages: what you do, where you do it and how to get in touch. The contact form, WhatsApp and tap to call, your Google Business Profile set up to match, and one round of changes. Usually live in one to two weeks.

Business, £1,500

Four to eight pages, so each service gets its own page. On top of Starter, booking links, an editor so you can change your own text and prices, and two rounds of changes. Usually live in two to three weeks.

The domain and hosting are in your name from day one, and the site is yours once the final invoice is paid. The prices page has everything side by side.

Questions

Worth knowing before you ask for a price.

Do I need more than three pages?

Not always. Starter covers up to three pages, which is enough to say what you do, where you do it and how to get in touch. If you want a page for each service you offer, so each one has its own chance to show up in search, that is Business, at £1,500 for four to eight pages.

Can you show my Gas Safe number or my other registrations?

Yes. I show each one with your business name exactly as it is registered, and link it to the register, so a customer can check it. I only add logos for schemes you actually belong to. What a tradesperson's website needs covers Gas Safe's rules on showing your number, and where customers can check the other registers.

Can customers book a visit online?

Booking links come with Business, so if you use an online booking or calendar tool, the site links to it. Starter does not include booking links, but every package has the contact form, the WhatsApp button and the tap to call number.

Is there anything to pay monthly?

Not to me. Hosting for a normal site costs nothing, and the domain is around £10 a year, which you pay directly to the company it is registered with. If you use a paid booking tool, you pay that company directly, and I tell you the cost before we include it. If you want changes later, I price each one before I do it.

Will it get me to the top of Google?

I cannot promise that, and nobody honest can. What every package includes is the technical basics, a title and description for each page, a sitemap, LocalBusiness structured data and pages built to load fast, plus your Google Business Profile set up to match the site.

Want a price for yours?

Tell me what you do and where you work, and I will send a fixed price in writing.
